About Me

I am a member of the Adaptive Systems and Interaction group at Microsoft Research.

My interests include sensing of all types, computer vision, computer-human interaction, gesture recognition, machine learning, hardware devices and ubiquitous computing.

I did my PhD at the MIT Media Lab, where I explored gesture recognition from video and other sensors in a machine learning framework.  I received a BA in Computer Science at Cornell in 1993.  I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania.
